We built Industrial Cafe, an award-winning café and takeaway in Smithfield’s industrial precinct, a fast website that puts the menu, the 5am opening and the order links front and centre.
The business
Industrial Cafe sits on Long Street in the heart of Smithfield’s industrial area — the kind of place where the first orders of the day are flat whites and bacon-and-egg rolls. They open from 5am for tradies, factory crews and early starters, and serve big breakfasts, fresh rolls, hot food and proper barista coffee. They’ve been voted Most Outstanding Fast Food / Takeaway at the Fairfield City Local Business Awards three times — in 2020, 2021 and 2024.
The challenge
Despite the awards and the loyal local crowd, there was no website. Online ordering ran through a third-party page, the menu was scattered across delivery apps and directories, and the contact email was a generic Hotmail address. There was nowhere that told the whole story: who they are, when they open, and how to order.
What we built
A bold, hard-working site that matches the cafe’s early-start, no-fuss energy:
- A hero that leads with what they’re known for — “Smithfield’s award-winning cafe & takeaway” — and the headline detail that they’re open from 5am, with a one-tap Call button and a sticky mobile bar.
- A clear menu board for breakfasts, hot food, rolls and coffee, ready for the owner to confirm items and prices.
- An “Order & delivery” section linking out to their existing Uber Eats and online ordering pages.
- An honest “Who we are” section that proudly features the three Fairfield City Local Business Awards.
- Service-area, opening-hours and “Find us” blocks with the Long Street address, a map and LocalBusiness search markup, so Google shows the right hours and location.
