We built Ming Fa Chinese Take-Away, a long-running Chinese takeaway on Dublin Street in Smithfield, a website that puts the menu, the delivery links and the phone number all in one place.
The business
Ming Fa is a neighbourhood Chinese takeaway that locals have been ordering from for more than eleven years. They do the Cantonese-Australian classics properly — honey chicken with the right glossy crunch, crispy duck, family packs that actually feed a family, curries and seafood — all cooked to order for pickup or delivery.
The challenge
For a shop with eleven years of regulars, Ming Fa had almost no online presence of its own. They had no Facebook page, no Instagram and no website — just listings on delivery platforms and review sites. If you wanted the menu or the phone number, you were at the mercy of third-party apps. Years of goodwill, with nowhere to call home.
What we built
A warm, appetising site built around the food and the easy order:
- A hero that leads with the eleven-year story and the dishes people search for, with a one-tap Call button and a sticky mobile bar.
- A “classics, cooked to order” menu section featuring favourites like honey chicken, crispy duck, family packs and combination curry, with prices left for the owner to confirm.
- A gallery of the signature dishes so people can see the food before they order.
- An “Order” section linking out to their existing DoorDash and Uber Eats pages for delivery across Smithfield and Fairfield.
- A “Find Us” block with the Dublin Street address, opening hours (closed Mondays), a map and LocalBusiness search markup so Google shows the right details.
